Licensees and certificate holders renew triennially on June 30 of the licensees expiration year. For renewal licensees must complete within the 3 calendar year period preceding the year of renewal 120 CPE hours.
Of the 120 hour requirement, only 24 hours may be in non-technical subjects. 4 of the 120 hours must be in ethics applicable to the practice of public accounting in Washington State. Certificate holders must meet the Washington ethics requirement. This 4-hour requirement can be met by taking our Washington Ethics course. Go to the ethics section on our home page and follow the links.
All required CPE can be acquired through self-study.
